Virginia Foxx, a U.S. Congresswoman representing North Carolina’s 5th district since 2005, has utilized social media to share her perspectives on presidential politics and policy issues. Foxx, born in New York City in 1943, and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, has consistently voiced conservative viewpoints.

On April 10, 2025, Foxx publicly expressed her support for @RepStefanik, who returned to a leadership role within the Republican House. Foxx stated, "She's a rock-ribbed conservative leader who I’m proud to call my friend," and looked forward to their collaboration in the political arena.

Later that day, Foxx responded to criticism of a piece of legislation referred to as a "Voter suppression measure." In her tweet, Foxx questioned the term, writing "Really? It passed with bipartisan support... Hillary Clinton is a ". This tweet reflects Foxx's position on voting legislation and her opinion on Clinton's commentary.

On April 12, 2025, Foxx shared her stance on education policy, referencing the U.S. Constitution. She tweeted, "Within the Constitution, 'education' is not listed as an enumerated power of the federal government. Return decision making authority back to states and localities where it belongs. Tear down the Department of Education brick by brick. It’s time." Her statement underscores a push for decentralizing educational decision-making.
