Tomorrow, the Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Development will convene a hearing at 10:15 a.m. The session, chaired by Representative Burgess Owens from Utah, is titled “Strengthening WIOA: Improving Outcomes for America's Workforce.”
The hearing will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building. It aims to address issues related to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and explore ways to enhance workforce outcomes in America.
Several witnesses are scheduled to testify. These include Dr. Stephen Moret, President and CEO of Strada Education Foundation; Ms. Molly Dodge, Senior Vice President of Workforce and Careers at Ivy Tech Community College; Mr. Robert Sainz, Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Youth Employment Coalition; and Mr. Nicholas Moore, Director of the Office of Education and Workforce Transformation.
The event is open to members of the press and will be available for viewing via live stream on the Committee’s YouTube page.
