Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg has addressed the state of antisemitism in American universities following the release of the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) 2025 Campus Report Card.

Chairman Walberg expressed concern about rising antisemitic incidents on college campuses, highlighting reports of "terrorist-supporting mobs overtaking academic buildings, harassing Jewish students, and causing chaos on campuses." He noted that such activities are "clearly breaking the rules laid out by schools."

Walberg commended the ADL for its efforts to document and expose antisemitic behavior, stating, "I am grateful to organizations like the ADL, which work diligently to document and expose this kind of antisemitic hatred. ADL’s efforts bring much-needed attention to the plight of Jewish students across our country."

He called upon university administrators to act decisively against these issues. "Now that this horrific activity has been exposed, it is time for university heads to take action," Walberg urged. He emphasized the importance of not yielding to radical groups and holding accountable those who disrupt campus life. He warned that failure to protect Jewish students would not be accepted.

The ADL's Campus Report Card provides a detailed account of antisemitic activities occurring at educational institutions throughout the United States.
