Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg has announced the subcommittee assignments for the 119th Congress. The appointments cover four key areas: Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education; Higher Education and Workforce Development; Workforce Protections; and Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions.
Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA) will chair the Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education Subcommittee. Other members include Miller as Vice Chair, Foxx, Thompson, Owens, Rulli, Mackenzie, Harris, and Messmer.
The Higher Education and Workforce Development Subcommittee will be led by Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT), who is also the Vice Chair of the full committee. Members are Baumgartner as Vice Chair, Wilson, Foxx, Thompson, Grothman, Stefanik, McClain, Kiley, Houchin, Onder, and Harris.
Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-PA) takes charge of the Workforce Protections Subcommittee with Messmer as Vice Chair. Additional members include Grothman, Stefanik, Comer, and Miller.
Lastly, Rep. Rick Allen (R-GA) will lead the Health Employment Labor and Pensions Subcommittee. Onder serves as Vice Chair alongside Wilson Foxx Comer Owens McClain Houchin Rulli Mackenzie Baumgartner.
