Education and the Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) issued a statement in response to the Biden-Harris administration's announcement of a final rule for Head Start, a program she claims has a history of significant issues.

"By finalizing the Head Start rule, the Biden-Harris administration insists on trying to overfund a program with over a thousand known incidents of child abuse. The effort smells like an attempt to form Head Start educators into a unionized political block. Political patronage should never take precedent over children’s lives," said Foxx.

Foxx further criticized the administration, stating, "After fighting for forced medical interventions on minors, men’s ability to compete in girls’ sports, and now knowingly funding child abusers, the Biden-Harris administration needs to end its crusade against the well-being of our nation's children."
