On Saturday, December 30, former Gainesville High School standout, Josh Hayes’ current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 67-55 in their NCAA D1 game against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

The game took place in Boone, North Carolina. This was the first matchup against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks this season.

The Appalachian State Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, January 4 at 8 p.m. in Mobile, Alabama.
