The Town of Boone, has been awarded $118,450 to conduct a Multimodal Feasibility Study from the North Carolina Department of Transportation's Integrated Mobility Division!

The study will identify the best routes for the extension of the Boone Greenway Trail (also known as the Cross Boone Connector).

A proposed route is extending the Greenway Trail from Pride Drive/Leola Street and ending the route at Holmes Drive/Rivers Street directly across from Durham Park on Appalachian State University's campus.
