Town of Bakersville issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
Make plans to be in Bakersville at 6:30 pm on Thursday, Oct 27 for the first Hilloween Bakersville Night Festival!
Events include a sound & light show, live music by the Ali Randolph Band, storytelling, food vendors, & more!
This is where the party is on Thursday night! Join us for a night of fun headlined by a one-of-a-kind sound and light show designed by the same team that created similar installations at the White House. This festival will feature activities for the whole family, including musical performances by Ali Randolph Band, food and drink sold by local partners Southern Ridge Cafe and Red Wolff Kitchen, axe-throwing, and so much more.
- 6:30 pm – Event begins with opening ceremony featuring reigning Rhododendron Queen. Food, drink, and other spooky fun begins as well.
- 6:45 – Musical performance by Ali Randolph Band.
- 7:l5 – Sound and light show begins. Sound and Light will repeat throughout the night. Storytellers Ashton Woody, Aaron Ratcliffe and Will Ritter begin storytelling around the firepit. Axe-throwing begins.
- 10pm(ish) – Event ends
* Please bring a blanket or a lawn chair for the special performance, get comfy and enjoy!
