Alleghany County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.
Alleghany Cares is paying the registration fee for the next 80 kids that sign up for youth baseball and softball! After the limit is reached the fee will return to the normal $25 per child. Visit the Parks and Recreation office at 348 South Main St for registration. Forms can be picked up outside the office door and also returned in the drop box or to staff. Make sure and fill out the code of ethics form and return it along with the registration. Registration is open until Friday March 18th!
