Alleghany County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
Today is Wreaths Across America Day to honor fallen soldiers. We were informed they will have laying of the wreaths today at Ashelawn Cemetary in Ashe County at 12:00. We have not been informed of activities in Alleghany. If anyone has any information, please let us know. Thank you!
