COUNTY OF WILKES: Public Notice SPA 21-0024

Notice

County of Wilkes issued the following announcement on Sep 24. 

Substance Abuse Medically Monitored Residential Treatment Service, Substance Abuse Non-Medical Community Residential Treatment Service and Non-Hospital Medical Detoxification.

The Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health Benefits hereby provides notice of its intent to amend the Medicaid State Plan to allow for service to be provided for more than 45 days in a 12-month period. 

This is a change and increase from the previous 30 days of service. This amendment will become effective October 1, 2021.

 The annual estimated State fiscal impact of this change is: 

a. SFY 2021 $2,121 

b. SFY 2022 $9,431 

A copy of the proposed public notice may be viewed at the County Department of Social Services. Questions, comments and requests for copies of the proposed State Plan amendment should be directed to the Division of Health Benefits at the address listed below:
