Town of Banner Elk issued the following announcement on Jul. 26.
This Western NC-based band brings its music up and down the East Coast. Tanya Williams on lead vocals is backed by a four-piece band.
The concert is part of the annual Concerts in the Park series, sponsored by the Banner Elk Chamber of Commerce. Each Thursday, local and regional bands play live music at Tate-Evans Town Park Amphitheater. The fun dance music — from Southern rock to oldies, soul and funk — is appropriate for all ages.
Food vendors set up on-site. Small picnic coolers are allowed, and beverages should be in plastic cups. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket.
