Today, Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg expressed his views on the Trump administration's executive orders concerning diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Walberg criticized the DEI initiatives, stating that they have prioritized social justice over merit and skills.

"For too long, social justice warriors crusaded to mandate DEI in every corner of America," Walberg stated. He argued that these policies have negatively impacted various sectors, from education to finance. According to him, "DEI has bloated education budgets while telling students what to think instead of how to think." He also mentioned that Americans' savings are being directed into underperforming funds due to the Biden-Harris administration's agenda.

Walberg praised the Trump administration for its actions against DEI policies. "I commend the Trump administration for dismantling DEI," he said. He believes this move will lead America towards a more prosperous future.
