Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg has expressed his support for President Trump's recent executive order. In a statement, Walberg commented on the order's focus on acknowledging biological differences between men and women.

"Blatant and deliberate attempts to redefine our sons’ and daughters’ identities by questioning biology itself has done significant harm to our children and society," said Walberg. He praised the Trump administration's action, stating that it "acknowledges the biological differences between men and women."

Walberg further emphasized that this measure aims at "protecting women from discrimination and securing the progress women have made over the decades." He noted that recognizing sex rather than attempting to erase it would provide "women and girls opportunities to thrive and excel on and off the field."

He concluded by describing the executive order as "the first step in restoring common sense and sanity in this country."
