On Wednesday, September 18, at 10:15 a.m., the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections, chaired by Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA), will hold a hearing titled “Examining the Biden-Harris Attacks on Tipped Workers.”

"With record-high inflation, tipped workers need policies that make it easier to earn a living, not harder. Implementing a rule that further penalizes workers and job creators who utilize the tip credit is the wrong move," said Chairman Kiley. "This hearing will highlight pro-market initiatives that can improve workers' earnings, provide businesses with more flexibility, and lessen the regulatory burden."

The hearing will take place in Room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building and is open to the press. It will also be live-streamed on the Committee’s YouTube page.
