County of Watauga issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.
The Watauga County Board of Adjustment will hold an evidentiary hearing pursuant to the Watauga County Planning and Development Ordinance Chapter 13 High Impact Land Uses to consider a Special Use Permit for commercial development with aggregate building footprint 50,000 square feet or greater.
The applicant is LHH of Watauga LLC; the proposed location is on property currently owned by Fox Foscoe LLC at 10298 NC Hwy 105 S Banner Elk, NC.
The hearing is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2022 in the Multi-Purpose Room, Watauga Community Recreation Center, 231 Complex Drive, Boone. Contact Watauga County Planning & Inspections (828-265-8043) for further information.
