COUNTY OF YANCEY: Tropical Storm Fred Recovery Assistance

Money

County of Yancey issued the following announcement on Jan. 31.

If your home or property was damaged by Tropical Storm Fred and you have not received assistance from insurance or federal disaster recovery, the  Office of State Budget Management (OSBM) now has additional disaster recovery programs that may be able to offer additional support. We can help even if you received limited help from FEMA or your insurance company.

If you or someone you know experienced damage to property as a result of Tropical Storm Fred and would like to apply for assistance from the State of North Carolina, there are two sites available.
