Town of Boone issued the following announcement on Jan. 31.
The Town of Boone Department of Public Works is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Worker in Water and Sewer Collections & Distribution. Performs work in installing, maintaining, and repairing water & sewer lines; and operates equipment in connection with tasks. Must be available for callback.
Education and Experience
Any combination of experience equivalent to graduation from high school. General knowledge of a variety of maintenance and manual tasks involved in the installation, maintenance repair of water & sewer lines.
Special Requirements
Must have valid driver’s license.
