Town of Boone issued the following announcement on Jan. 15.
Due to the prevailing weather conditions, and what is expected through tomorrow morning, Republic Services will not be running any routes tomorrow (Monday). The current plan is to begin services on Tuesday, possibly at a 2 hour delay. All routes will be 1 day behind for the rest of the week until Saturday. We want everyone to stay safe this holiday weekend! Thank you for your patience!
