Town of North Wilkesboro issued the following announcement on Nov. 13.
Light Up Downtown is an annual holiday festival presented by the Downtown North Wilkesboro Partnership and Town of North Wilkesboro. The event is held each year the Friday before Thanksgiving from 6p-9p. Last year’s event was virtual, but we are returning to in person in 2021. There’s shops open late, food and craft vendors, live music, dance troupes, hayrides, Santa and Mrs. Claus, twinkling lights and wonderous window displays. Main Street, 9th Street, C Street and 10th Street will filled with festivities, flavors and fun.
