The Town of Boone Department of Public Utilities is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Worker in Water and Sewer Collections & Distribution. Performs work in installing, maintaining, and repairing water & sewer lines; and operates equipment in connection with tasks. Must be available for callback.
Education and Experience: Any combination of experience equivalent to graduation from high school. General knowledge of a variety of maintenance and manual tasks involved in the installation, maintenance repair of water & sewer lines.
Special Requirements: Must have valid driver’s license.
Special Note: All offers of employment are subject to successful completion of a controlled substance screening, a medical examination and extensive background check.
