Town of Boone issued the following announcement on Aug. 5.
Tomorrow morning (August 6th at 11:00am), the Town Council will be holding a Special Meeting to discuss the possible reinstitution of all or portion of the Town's previous emergency orders pertaining to COVID-19, which may include the requirements for wearing masks in indoor areas open to the public and possible COVID-19 related requirements for Town employees. If you would like to address Council, please email John Ward, Town Manager, no later than 9:15am on the day of the meeting (August 6th) at john.ward@townofboone.net.
