Census Bureau: 81.4 percent of people in West Jefferson were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 1,539 citizens living in West Jefferson in 2019, 1,253 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 648 of those people were female and 605 were male.
