Today, Tim Walberg, Chairman of the Education and Workforce Committee, released a statement regarding President Trump's executive orders aimed at advancing school choice programs, addressing antisemitism on campuses, and limiting critical race theory teachings.

In his statement, Walberg expressed support for the President's actions. "President Trump is keeping his promise to protect our students, hold schools accountable, fight campus antisemitism, and empower parents to be stewards of their children’s education," he said. He also criticized the previous administration for prioritizing politics over student welfare during its tenure.

Walberg concluded with optimism about the new direction: “We are finally putting our students first.”
