On Monday, March 11, former Smoky Mountain High School standout Alannah Hopkins’ current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 13-0 in their NCAA Division I game against the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.

The game took place in Boone, North Carolina. This was their fourth matchup against the East Tennessee State Buccaneers this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13 at 4 p.m. in Greensboro, North Carolina against UNC Greensboro Spartans.
