5.1% of Ashe County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Ashe County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 660 people out of the 26,598 living in Ashe County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Ashe County has increased compared to the 4.4% registered in 2020.
