County of Avery issued the following announcement on Sep 4.
Avery County will be holding a public hearing to solicit citizen input on the submission of an application for 2021 Community Development Block Grant funds in the Neighborhood Revitalization Program category. The CDBG funds will be to help rehabilitate low-income households in Avery County. The public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 4:00 pm in the Commissioners Boardroom located at 175 Linville Street, Newland, NC. All interested citizens are invited to attend.
