Town of Beech Mountain recently issued the following announcement.
Christmas Parade and Festivities
December 23 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join us for the Beech Mountain Christmas Parade on December 23rd at 4:00 pm. The parade will run from the Beech Mountain Resort lower parking lot to the Town Hall. Viewers will want to be in place along the Beech Mountain Parkway by 3:45 pm as the police will close the road until the parade is finished. The gravel lot by the Brick Oven is a good parking place for viewing the parade from the commercial district at the top of the town. Following the parade, there will be a fire pit beside the Brick Oven Pizzeria, hot chocolate and kids’ games, followed by night sledding on the Town Sledding Hill until 6:00 pm. You won’t want to miss Santa’s arrival on the fire truck!
