Finding reliable health information online is like a treasure hunt. How do people know what is true and what is false?

Wilkes Literacy is holding a FREE workshop on Monday, Oct. 10, at 4 PM to equip adults with tools to find safe, reliable online health information.

This workshop will study websites and health news articles to determine what is real, what is a scam, and what online health information is biased toward product promotion. Registration can be completed online at https://www.wilkesliteracy.org/livewell .

Wilkes Literacy is celebrating National Health Literacy Month in October with the Wilkes County Library by holding free community workshops for all adults. Contact Wilkes Literacy or the Wilkes County Library for more information.
