Virginia Foxx, a member of the U.S. Congress representing North Carolina’s 5th district, shared a series of tweets in early February 2025. Foxx has been serving in Congress since 2005 after succeeding Richard Burr and previously served in the North Carolina House of Representatives and Senate from 1995 to 2005. She is an alumna of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

On February 3, 2025, Virginia Foxx tweeted, “And he’s just getting started. Keep on winning.” The tweet suggests support for an unspecified individual or initiative that she believes is beginning to achieve success.

The following day, on February 4, 2025, Foxx posted another brief tweet: “Yes.” This succinct message was accompanied by a link but lacked further context regarding its intended meaning or subject matter.

On February 5, 2025, Virginia Foxx expressed admiration with her tweet stating “True champions.” Again, the tweet included a link but did not provide additional information about whom or what she was referring to as “champions.”
