Virginia Foxx, a longtime U.S. Representative from North Carolina, posted a series of comments on her social media account in February 2026 addressing recent political developments and election outcomes.
On February 11, 2026, Foxx wrote, “Election integrity won today “. Two days later, on February 13, she posted another message: “Well, well, well… https://t.co/0WaF2GbfVF”. In between these posts, on February 12, Foxx commented simply: “How disappointing. https://t.co/izQ9NNEIFw”.
Foxx has consistently secured victories in congressional elections over the past decade. In the most recent general election of 2024, she defeated Chuck Hubbard with 59.5% of the vote to Hubbard’s 40.5%. Her previous wins include defeating Kyle Parrish in 2022 with a margin of 63.15% to 36.85%, and David Brown in 2020 by a margin of nearly two-to-one. Earlier victories were recorded against Denise D. Adams in 2018 and Josh Brannon in both the 2014 and 2016 elections.
