Virginia Foxx, U.S. Congresswoman representing North Carolina’s 5th district, posted a series of tweets on July 23, 2025, commenting on recent political developments and sharing updates about her social media profile.

In her first tweet at 2:21 a.m. UTC, Foxx praised the President’s recent actions by writing, “Massive deals. Massive wins. A true masterclass from @POTUS.” At 2:31 a.m. UTC, she hinted at updating her online presence with the post, “New profile pic? Possibly…” Later that morning at 2:59 a.m. UTC, she confirmed the change by posting “#NewProfilePic”.

Foxx has served in Congress since 2005 after succeeding Richard Burr and represents constituents in North Carolina’s 5th District. Prior to her tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives, she was a member of both the North Carolina House of Representatives and Senate from 1995 to 2005. Born in New York City in 1943 and currently residing in Banner Elk, Foxx graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in 1968.
