Town of Seven Devils issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.

The Town has a sign posted at the beginning of Seven Devils Road that advises

4WD, chains, or studded snow tires are required by law when traveling on Town

roads. Whenever travel by motor vehicles on Town streets is hazardous due to

snow, ice, or combination of both, the flashing sign shall be clearly illuminated,

and the chain law is in effect, requiring:

Chains

Snow Tires

Four-wheel Drive or AWD

Combination of above

Violation = $150.00
