Town of North Wilkesboro issued the following announcement on Mar. 16.

Joint North Wilkesboro/Wilkesboro/Wilkes County Governing Board Meeting

Wednesday, March 30, 2022

The governing boards of North Wilkesboro, Wilkesboro, and Wilkes County will hold a joint meeting to discuss the Great State of Wilkes Outdoor Action Plan. 

The bodies will review a proposed action plan developed by their retained planning firm, Destination by Design. If approved, this plan will guide investment in recreational assets in the county for years to come.
