Town of Boone issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.

The Boone Town Council will be hosting a special meeting on September 29th at 9:00am, located at Council Chambers (1500 Blowing Rock Road).

 The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss and provide direction to staff with respect to the substance and process of updating the town’s Comprehensive Plan for land use and development.
