Town of Banner Elk issued the following announcement on May 25.

This summer, the community is invited to make use of the new SRC facilities with the two-month Community Membership. From June 1 to July 31, members will get daily access to exercise equipment and classes. 

Wildcat Lake will also be reopening for the summer, under our management. The first day of the season will be Memorial Day, May 30. 

We are so excited to be able to carry on the long tradition of serving and providing recreational activities to our community.
