TOWN OF BAKERSVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT: Lowered Their ISO Rating to a Class 4

0Comments

Town of Bakersville Fire Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.

The Town of Bakersville would like to congratulate Bakersville Fire and Rescue!

The department was recently inspected by the NC Department of Insurance and Office of State Fire Marshall.

We are proud to announce they have lowered their ISO rating to class 4.

The inspection is based on equipment, response, and training along with several other topics.

These ratings directly affect homeowner and business owners’ insurance premiums. They are the first class 4 in Mitchell County.

The rating will go into effect in December of 2022 (apparently the date on the certificate is a typo.)
