Education and the Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) criticized President Biden's response to the surge of antisemitism on college campuses, calling it meager. In a statement issued today, Foxx expressed her disappointment, stating, "President Biden and college administrators are operating from the exact same playbook. Instead of taking a stand against antisemitic encampments and other incidents engulfing college campuses, all they do is parrot the same tired platitudes. Jewish students deserve meaningful actions, not just empty words."

Foxx emphasized the need for concrete actions, such as directing the Education Department to prioritize Title VI investigations on campuses with antisemitic incidents and implementing consequences for any violations found. She also mentioned her expectations for Secretary Cardona's upcoming testimony, where she anticipates hearing concrete plans to address the issue.
