On Sunday, February 18, former Southern Alamance High School standout Sidney Martin’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 15-0 in their NCAA Division I game against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers.

The game took place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This was their first matchup against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, February 23 at 7:50 p.m. in Raleigh, North Carolina against Cleveland State Vikings.
