Town of Wilkesboro issued the following announcement on Sept. 19.
The study will examine the current state of childcare accessibility in Wilkes County.
It will also help to gain knowledge, understand your experiences, identify challenges, and provide recommendations to meet childcare needs.
A Childcare Taskforce has been appointed to conduct the study. The taskforce is made up of individuals and organizations whose combined experience was determined to be the most qualified to conduct this study.
They welcome the opportunity to listen, observe, seek best practices, and encourage positive outcomes that will strengthen the community.
