Town of Bakersville issued the following announcement on July 11.
Don't miss out on our upcoming event Paws in the Park 22, July 30 9 am -12 pm, sponsored by Bill and Connie Sales/Crooked Little Flower Studios! We will have snacks for the humans, Claudia's Taco Truck, a DJ, face painting for the kiddos (or adultos), fun dog competitions with prizes, and a Strutt your Mutt walk around the park in Bakersville!
What a great way to show off your best buddy! And the best part...everyone can fundraise for this event! Participants in the Strutt your Mutt walk can download a paper form on the Paws webpage https://www.mitchellcountyanimalrescue.org/paws-in-the-park and have friends and neighbors sponsor you and your dog!
Be sure to let us know if you are participating! You can also create a Facebook Fundraiser with MCAR as the charity.
Be sure and mention Paws in the Park and tag us! Our top fundraiser will get an awesome tee shirt, and be featured on our social media! We will see you at the park!
