County of Averissued the following announcement on Nov. 22.
The Avery County Solid Waste Department would like to announce the schedule for the Thanksgiving Holiday for all collection sites and the landfill.
All sites will be closed on Wednesday, November 24th and Thursday November 25th, 2021. We will reopen on Friday November 26th, 2021 at 6:30a.m.
The Avery County landfill will be closed on Thursday November 25rd, and Friday November 26th, 2021. We will be open on Saturday November 27th at 9:00a.m.
