The Iredell Republican Women hosted a meeting Nov. 13 that was attended District 85 GOP Representative Josh Dobson. Dobson was invited by Leisa Rowe, a member of the organization, and was in attendance to connect with the women of the GOP in North Carolina counties.
In addition to speaking with the women of the group, he joined them for dinner.
Dobson has served four consecutive terms in the House of Representatives for North Carolina. He is a member of several committees for the North Carolina General Assembly, including: Health, Pension and Retirement, and Alcoholic Beverage Control. He is currently running for North Carolina Labor Commissioner for 2020.
Iredell Republican Women is based in North Carolina and represents the female GOP base in the area. According to its Facebook page, they have more than 900 members and are dedicated to “the election of individuals with constitutional values.”
