There were 6 on-campus drug abuse violations in 2017 on the campus of Lees-McRae College, located in Banner Elk, according to the most recent crime statistics available on the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) website.

In 2016, there were 3 drug abuse violations on the campus; and in 2015, there was 1 drug abuse violation.
