Diesel gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.22 per gallon at one gas station in Watauga County during the week ending Dec. 27, 2025, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $3.31 per gallon for diesel gas.
Of the 26 reported gas stations located within Watauga County, 11 offered diesel gas.
For comparison, the average price of diesel gas in North Carolina was $3.42 per gallon for the week ending Dec. 27, 2025, down from the previous week.
