House subcommittee to examine antisemitism in K-12 schools at upcoming hearing

The Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education will convene a hearing tomorrow to address the issue of antisemitism in K-12 schools. The session, titled “From Playground to Classroom: The Spread of Antisemitism in K-12 Schools,” is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. It will take place at 2175 Rayburn House Office Building.

Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA), who chairs the subcommittee, will oversee the proceedings. Witnesses invited to testify include Nicole Neily, President and Founder of Defending Education; Dr. Brandy Shufutinsky, Director of Education and National Security at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies; Rabbi Jill Jacobs, CEO of T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights; and Rachel Lerman, Vice Chair and Director of Appeals and Critical Motions at The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law.

The hearing is open to members of the press and will be available via live stream on the Committee’s YouTube page.
