County of Yancey issued the following announcement on Apr. 12.

Please take notice that the Yancey County Board of County Commissioners, pursuant to NC Gen. Stat. §153A-40(b) and NC Gen. Stat. §143-318.1 2(b)(2), has called a SPECIAL
MEETING. The Yancey County Board of County Commissioners shall hold the meeting at the following designated time and place.

Monday, April 18, 2022

Time of Meeting:
9:00 a.m.

Place of Meeting:
Commissioners’ Meeting Room
Yancey County Courthouse
Burnsville, North Carolina

Purpose of Meeting:
To conduct budget work session for prep aration of FY 2022-2023 budget; to conduct and consider budget discussions; and, to consider adjustments and amendments for FY 2021-2022. To
discuss and consider Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) Grant.
