County of Yancey issued the following announcement on June 24.

Please take notice that the Yancey County Board of County Commissioners, pursuant to NC Gen. Stat. §153A-40(b) and NC Gen. Stat. §143-318.12(b)(2),has called a SPECIAL MEETING. The Yancey County Board of County Commissioners shall hold the meeting at the following designated time and place.

Monday, June 27, 2022
9:00 a.m.

Place:
Commissioners’ Meeting Room
Yancey County Courthouse
Burnsville, North Carolina

Purpose:

To consider the Amendment to Contract to Audit Accounts for fiscal year ending June 30, 2021; to consider the Resolution of the Yancey County Board of Commissioners Declaring the Intent of Yancey County to Reimburse Itself for Expenditures Incurred in Connection with the Purchase of Motor Vehicles from the Proceeds of Obligations to be Executed and Delivered in Calendar Year 2022; to consider the Yancey County Capital Project Ordinance for the Yancey County Transportation Facility; and, to consider budget adjustments and amendments for FY 2021-2022.
