County of Watauga issued the following announcement on Jan. 17.

Due to inclement weather and road conditions, The Watauga County Board of Commissioners Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 18, 2022, has been cancelled. A special called meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 5:30 P.M. following the same agenda as the meeting originally scheduled for the 18th which can be found on the County’s website: www.wataugacounty.org.
