COUNTY OF AVERY: Notice Of Adoption Of Schedules, Standards, And Rules For The 2022 Reappraisal

County of Avery issued the following announcement on Dec. 14. 

Notice is hereby given that on December 6, 2021 the Avery County Board of Commissioners adopted the true value and present use value schedules, standards, and rules to be used in the 2022 reappraisal of real property in Avery County.  Notice is further given that a copy of said true value and present use value schedules, standards, and rules are on file in the office of the Avery County Tax Assessor, 200 Montezuma Street, Avery County Courthouse, Room 106, Newland, NC, and is available for public inspection Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  

Notice is further given that a property owner who asserts that the schedules, standards, and rules are
invalid may except to the order and appeal there from to the Property Tax Commission within thirty (30)
days of the date when the notice of adopting the schedules, standards, and rules was first published.
This is the 6 th day of December 2021.
